Teaching strategies for challenging behaviours

Karen Dymke – has been an educator in the TAFE, Learn Local and VET sector for over 30 years. Her passion is to engage learners! As well as being a teacher and trainer, Karen’s experience includes the development and professional development roll out of the VCAL, scholarships overseas to investigate innovative programs for youth at risk, and managing a Language and Literacy network for the Eastern region. Currently Karen lectures in Alternative Education models including VET and VCAL at Latrobe University. She was also awarded the inaugural Teacher/Trainer of the year award for the TAFE Directorate.
