Andrew Shea is a recognised leader in vocational education, and expert on workforce capability and skills system reform, with more than two decades of executive experience across the training, employment and tertiary education sectors.
He is Managing Director of Skilled Nation, a specialist advisory firm supporting government agencies, industry bodies, Jobs and Skills Councils, registered training organisations and tertiary education providers across Australia. He is also a Digital Taskforce member and Chair of the Cyber Security Technical Committee with the Future Skills Organisation.
Andrew’s experience includes serving as Chief Executive of three award-winning RTOs, leading teams recognised through state and national training awards, and holding senior executive roles in cyber security, digital capability and workforce development. He is an experienced keynote speaker, facilitator and adviser whose work focuses on leadership, educator capability, quality training, skills portability and preparing learners and organisations for a changing world of work.
