During 14 years as Director of TAFE NSW Northern Sydney Institute (NSI), Kevin was instrumental in building one of TAFE’s national leading institutes. His leadership has helped the NSI to become a national IT training leader through associations with global ICT companies including CISCO Systems, IBM, Oracle and Microsoft. Kevin is a member of many innovation and skills development-focused government and industry entities and was awarded the Public Service Medal in the 2014 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for his achievements in public education and skills development.
Kevin joined the WorldSkills Australia Board in 2010 and elected as Chair in December 2017. He has previously been a member of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee as well as Deputy Chair. Kevin is also WorldSkills Australia’s official delegate, representing Australia’s interests at the WorldSkills International Stage.
