Rajeev Jawaji is studying towards an Associate Degree in Information Technology at RMIT University. His passion for programming ignited in Year 8, and after an early detour into game development, he found his calling in web development – a field he pursued through constant side projects and hands-on experimentation. WorldSkills was the first competition Rajeev ever entered, making his Gold Medal win at the 2025 National Championships in Web Design & Development all the more remarkable. Beyond the technical achievement, the experience taught him to communicate across disciplines and manage time under pressure – skills he continues to refine. Curious, enthusiastic, and determined, Rajeev aspires to build something that has a meaningful impact on the software industry. He will represent Australia in Web Technologies at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026.
