Richard Snook is an experienced education leader at South West TAFE, currently working as Manager – Education Partners, with responsibility for course and staff management, teaching quality, instructional design, learning support, and educational innovation. Richard works closely with teachers and emerging educators to strengthen capability, ensure quality delivery, and meet the regulatory requirements of the VET system, including ASQA standards—while supporting engaging, student‑centred learning experiences.
Richard’s career began in the trades as a cabinetmaker and registered builder, before transitioning into education as a way of giving back to the industry that shaped his professional life. This pathway led Richard into training and assessment delivery and, ultimately, education leadership.
Alongside his professional role, Richard has been actively involved in Christian leadership, public speaking, education, and counselling for much of his adult life, bringing a people‑focused, values‑driven approach to leadership and learning.
