Upekha is a research officer in the Research and Data Analytics branch at NCVER.
She has worked on projects which investigated barriers and enablers of VET delivery in regional, rural and remote Australia, sustainable employment outcomes for Indigenous peoples, online training delivery and effective student support practices that enable the learner journey. Prior to joining NCVER, Upekha has worked as an academic and conducted research with the College of Business, Government and Law at Flinders University and the Centre for Workplace Excellence at the University of South Australia. She holds a PhD in Business and Management from the University of South Australia.
