‘National Online Forum open to TAFE, RTO and Community providers connecting the Australian Dental industry experiencing skills shortages and VET Educators skilling the workforce.’

Following the outstanding success of the Early Childhood Education industry forum, registrations are now open for the Dental Industry forum. Engage with the Australian Dental Association, President – Jill Ford to discuss changes in industry practice and the opportunity to support upskilling with professional development.

What does best practice in delivery look like? Discussions with your peers across the country will look at different delivery models and resourcing for training.

You can also ‘Ask an Auditor’ any questions related to industry currency as the session will be moderated by an experienced AQTF auditor.

All VET Educators will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the forum to record their professional learning and industry currency.

Guest speaker, Jill Ford, President of the Dental Assistants Professional Association, completed her TAE qualification and delivered Certificate III in Dental Assisting after developing an interest in education during her employment as a dental nurse.

‘Learn about pathways the Dental Association is developing to encourage Dental Assistants to pursue their career both in and out of clinical dental practice with continuing professional development’.

Jill has been managing a dental traineeship program in TAFE for the past 7 years and looks forward to discussing current industry practice and delivery of programs with VET educators.
