Applications for the VDC VET Australian Sustainability Fellowship close Friday 31 May 2024.
Working in partnership with the International Specialised Skills Institute (ISS Institute), VDC is pleased to be funding the Australian VET Sustainability Fellowship for Vocational Education & Training valued at $15,000. The fellowship involves the opportunity to travel abroad to research new skills and best practice in areas such as clean and alternative energy, upcycling, recycling, innovative technologies and sustainable processes and procedures, then disseminate the findings to the Australian VET sector upon return.
The Fellowship program focuses on developing opportunities for the VET sector to support sustainable practices and innovation to generate long term social and environmental benefits.
Applications are open to:
- An Australian Permanent Resident (PR or citizen) over the age of 18.
- Applicants living in any state or territory in Australia.
- VET practitioners who are employed within a national Registered Training Organisation (RTO), including TAFEs and private RTOs.
- Academic researchers with sustainability expertise whose applied research will have an impact on the VET sector.
