The VDC Australian VET Sustainability Fellowship is open!
VDC is delighted to announce the launch of the 2024 Australian VET Sustainability Fellowship for Vocational Education & Training valued at $15,000.
Working in partnership with the International Specialised Skills Institute (ISS Institute), VDC is funding the Australian VET Sustainability Fellowship. The Fellowship program focuses on developing opportunities for the VET sector to support sustainable practices and innovation to generate long term social and environmental benefits.
The fellowship involves the opportunity to travel abroad to research new skills and best practice in areas such as clean and alternative energy, upcycling, recycling, innovative technologies and sustainable processes and procedures, then disseminate the findings to the Australian VET sector upon return.
Applications close Friday 31 May 2024, and are open to:
- An Australian Permanent Resident (PR or citizen) over the age of 18.
- Applicants living in any state or territory in Australia.
- VET practitioners who are employed within a national Registered Training Organisation (RTO), including TAFEs and private RTOs.
- Academic researchers with sustainability expertise whose applied research will have an impact on the VET sector.
