‘VET teaching in the tertiary education sector: New horizons and possibilities’
The Australian Council of Deans of Education Vocational Education Group (ACDEVEG) will be hosting its eleventh annual conference on VET teaching and VET teacher-education on Thursday December 11th and Friday December 12th, at the Ann Harding Conference Centre, University of Canberra, Bruce, ACT. Calls for abstracts for presentations and workshops have been extended and will close on 30th September. For more information Click Here
Abstracts are now invited for three types of activities at the conference, all relating to VET teaching and VET teacher-education.

- Practitioner workshops
- Commencing researcher presentations
Abstract guidelines – Contributors should submit an abstract of up to 300 words to [email protected]
Date for submission – Abstracts should be submitted by midnight 30 September 2025.
The ACDEVEG Annual Conference on VET Teaching and VET Teacher Education will provide presenters and delegates the opportunity to explore the strong contributions the VET sector brings to tertiary education, and the opportunities a streamlined education sector provides the VET teacher and VET teaching practice. The conference will include discussions on tertiary harmonisation as proposed in the recent Jobs and Skills Australia ‘Roadmap’.
