In the light of another article in this edition of VDC News, schools, parents and carers, employers and educators can now access a range of resources to better support secondary students making decisions about their future careers.
Following the launch of the schooltowork website.
This is part of the broader ‘Future Ready’ initiative, which includes a national career education strategy, and a framework and other resources for preparing secondary students for work.
The resources include the framework, and a range of other information about what vocational learning is, VET in secondary schools, collaboration between schools and employers and its importance as well as a wide range of other resources and links, including information that is state/territory specific.
There are illustrations of good practice too.
