The VDC 2023 Professional Learning Program for Semester 1 is now available. With an extensive range of new and existing professional development opportunities ranging from Workshops, Webinars, VET Chats and free Thought Leaders sessions. Click here to view the program.

This year, VDC introduces a brand-new topic in our suite of Professional Learning – Sustainability focusing on the UN Sustainable Development Goals and how to apply them in many areas. Sustainability webinars in Semester 1 will be facilitated by Lorna Pettifer, Learning Innovation Director for CERES School of Nature and Climate.

There’s also a new Leadership & Management webinar with none other than Johnathan Maltby, whom some may recognise from Industry Connect 2022. This webinar focuses on changing careers – specifically for new teachers, and will run twice in Semester 1 – with one of the sessions running from 5:00pm to 6:30pm so everyone can have a chance to attend.

As a leader in the development of the vocational education and training sector, VDC Prides itself on delivering quality, professional, and relevant programs that are applicable not only to VET educators and practitioners, but also other professionals.

VDC will continue to deliver accessible Hybrid sessions in 2023. Not sure what’s meant by Hybrid? Check out this article in VDC News from last year, where VDC’s definition of Hybrid is explained. Basically, it’s where you can choose how you wish to attend, either in-person or online.

All sessions are aligned to the Teaching, Assessment, Systems and Compliance, and Industry, Community and Collaboration domains and related capabilities/learning outcomes as prescribed in the VET Practitioner Capability Framework (IBSA 2011). Register today!

But wait there’s more… VDC has created VDC-Learn, your one-stop shop for our Pre-Recorded Webinars, e-Learns, and the recordings from Webinars you’ve registered for. Launching this year, the VDC team has worked hard to bring you something sophisticated and easy to navigate.

The VDC Teaching & Learning Conference is back in 2023! And this year it’s in-person. Whilst VDC can’t reveal too many details, you’re encouraged to save the date: 17-18 August 2023. It’s looking to be spectacular. Visit the VDC website for updates.
