Our welcome and opening will be presented by The Hon. Gayle Tierney MP. She understands the importance of communities and has dedicated her professional life to enhancing opportunities for the people she represents and works with.  A constant has been the importance she has placed on access to education which is integral to thriving communities and economies.

Our Master of Ceremonies is none other than one of our extraordinary facilitators, Chemène Sinson! Specialising in education, learning and performance across various educational sectors, both within Australia and internationally, Chemène has been an irreplaceable part of our programs. Jillian is a proud Bunurong woman from Point Nepean and Palawa from the Islands of Bass Strait with a lengthy career supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in work, education, and life their journey.  She has worked extensively in the Centrelink space for 13 years and is strongly committed to working alongside community organisations, developing partnerships, and building cultural capacity. She strives to give Aboriginal people a voice through mentoring employment and education with the aim of closing the gap.
