2022 CONFERENCE OVERVIEW
The VDC continued to evolve its professional learning to support the sector. The 2022 Teaching & Learning Conference was delivered as a two-day virtual conference, providing attendees with the opportunity to engage in a range of presentations, explore life skills and activate innovative approaches.
The theme Re-Emerging focused on life skills and practical strategies, enabling participants to embrace the exciting future of VET. The VET sector managed to overcome significant challenges, demonstrating its resilience by reworking teaching and business models coupled with innovation and strategies to support and engage learners.
The VDC has a proud tradition of providing one of Australia's leading Teaching & Learning Conferences. It is highly regarded and anticipated annual event within the VET sector.
PRESENTATIONS, WORKSHOPS AND PANEL
Together with stimulating and engaging Keynote speakers, another important part of the conference was its 'Professional Learning Workshops'. These sessions, together with inspiring panel discussions and informative case studies, reflected the fundamental aim of the Conference, to re-emerge and empower teachers and trainers from public, private and community providers to improve the education and employment outcomes for VET students.
